This piece is a skateboard. The idea grew out of an almost asphyxiating condition of landing at residency at Capacete, in Rio de Janeiro. It sort of reifies a dynamic experience between the unfamiliarity of a distant place during one of its most critical times of political turmoil and being relocated from an unlivable space to a room whose surface was 32 x 32 sq m and in which the three of us resided for a month. The dimensions of the piece reflect the actual hours we all spent in this room. Visitors are urged to contact the skateboard and ride it outside the exhibition space, in the city.
